HUMAN. Stories.™

Being Fully Human. Aloud, Together.

HUMAN. Stories.™ is a storytelling platform created by Tracie Jae, The Quiet Rebel.

Each gathering brings people together to share honest stories about leadership, life, and the moments that shape us. The stories follow the HUMAN framework: Honesty, Urgency, Meaningfulness, Accountability, and Nuance.

The goal is presence over performance.

When people tell the truth about their experiences, something shifts in the room. Listeners recognize themselves in the story. The distance between strangers closes.

For a moment, everyone remembers what it means to be human.

The next HUMAN. Stories. event is scheduled for June 8, 2026 in Houston, TX. Join the list to stay updated.

Why HUMAN. Stories. Exists

There are many stages where speakers present ideas backed by credentials, research, and professional expertise.

HUMAN. Stories. was created to hold a different kind of truth alongside those spaces.

This platform invites people to share the moments that shaped them. The decisions that tested their values. The experiences that changed how they see the world.

Speakers prepare their stories with care and intention. What they do not need is a title, a publication, or a résumé line to justify being on the stage.

The story matters most.

Each talk follows the HUMAN framework:

  • Honesty about what really happened

  • Urgency about why the story matters now

  • Meaningfulness about the impact it carries

  • Accountability for the choices within the story

  • Nuance for the complexity that often gets lost in public conversations

The result is a room where people are not simply listening to a talk. They are recognizing pieces of their own humanity in the story being told.

Stories That Stay With You

Each HUMAN. Stories. talk invites the audience into a question.

Sometimes that question is held quietly.
Sometimes it becomes a conversation with the person sitting nearby.

These questions create space for reflection during the gathering and long after it ends. They help listeners notice what the story stirred in them and how it connects to their own experiences.

The stories continue working in the room through those questions.
