Get to Know People. Get to Know Them Better.
Thank you for inviting Stay Curious into your home, workplace, classroom or community.
Use one card to begin a conversation. Add the questions to a game you already love. Create a new way to play.
The person who holds the deck holds the rules.
Start a Conversation

Bring Stay Curious to:
Family dinner

Answer the question together, or let one answer lead to the next question.
Follow the conversation wherever it goes.
Add Curiosity to Your Favorite Games
Stay Curious is a standard deck of playing cards, so you can use it to play the games you already know.
Add the questions in whatever way feels right for the people around your table:
Everyone answers a question before the first hand.
The winner of each hand answers the next question.
Draw a card and invite someone else to answer.
Let face cards prompt a conversation.
End the game with one final question.
Play together. Talk together. Make the rules your own.
Follow the Curiosity
Arrange all 54 cards (or as many as you have time to play with) face down around the edge of your table or playing surface, following its shape. If you are playing on the floor, arrange the cards in a square or rectangle.
The person with the next upcoming birthday goes first.
How to Play
The first player turns over any card and answers its question.
Moving around the arrangement, the next player counts the number shown on the card that was just turned over. Count only face-down cards.
The player turns over the card where the count ends and answers that question.
Continue around the table, using each newly revealed card to determine how far the next player counts.
Aces count as 1. Face cards count as 10. Jokers count as 15.
You may remove each card after it is played or leave it face up and skip it during future counting.
Choose Your Curiosity
Quick Curiosity
Only the person who turns over the card answers the question.
Deep Curiosity
Everyone answers each question.
Keeping Score
Scoring is optional. Each player earns the value of the card they turn over:
Aces: 1 point
Number cards: the number shown
Face cards: 10 points
Jokers: 15 points
Play until someone reaches 50 or 100 points, or continue until every card has been turned over.
