The questions are intentionally simple. They're designed to spark stories, laughter, memories, and the kind of conversations that make you glad you stayed a little longer.
The Story Behind the Deck
I grew up around card tables.
I played Pitty Pat as a child. My family gathers monthly to play Spades. My parents still play competitive Bid Whist, and my mother plays poker. Cards have always given us a reason to gather, laugh, compete, tell stories, and spend time together.
Stay Curious is a standard deck of playing cards because this history matters to me. The format is an intentional tribute to the card tables that shaped so many of my family memories.
Nearly a decade ago, the idea for a conversation deck called I’m Glad You Asked came to me almost fully formed. Many people offered their time, talent, and treasure to help bring it to life. Then life interrupted the work, and the project rested.
Stay Curious is its next chapter.
It brings together two things I have always loved: playing cards and the conversations that help us know one another better.
